AI Taught Me a Phrase: Slow Iteration

Today, AI taught me a phrase I had not expected: slow iteration.

Today, AI taught me a phrase I had not expected: slow iteration. My career has revolved around speed: Scrum, sprints, shipping, the next improvement. Faster has become the everyday rhythm of work.

Recently, AI and I made a little game. I loved its look and driving the rover across its floating bridges. We decided to keep building it slowly. Perhaps a lighting adjustment today, a moving platform next week, another course later. Just because I enjoy it.

It reminds me of writing a novel: returning every few days, adding something, revising a passage, watching a small world take shape. AI makes so much faster. It also gives me room to choose this slower pace. Keeping a little hobby alive with AI feels unexpectedly romantic.
